About Us
Procult is the cultural association that has been planning and organizing MArteLive and all related initiatives since 2001. Procult now has a consolidated experience over 20 years.
In 20 years with all its initiatives Procult has involved:
– 661,220 ATTENDANCES in almost 2200 events organized or that we have helped to organize.
– 11,276,000 PAGE VISITS generated on all the network’s sites
– 4,803,790 USERS reached through all our platforms and advertising
In the 19 editions were involved two of the most important venues in the capital: the Classico Village (Via Libetta 3, Garbatella-San Paolo district) in 2001 and 2002, and, since 2003, the Alpheus (now Planet Rome), which, thanks to its multi-room structure, lends itself well to a type of event like MArteLive, characterized by the harmonic and original overlap of all the arts, from music to theater, from literature to painting, from short films to dance and so on for 15 exciting artistic sections. In 2014 the first BiennaleMArteLive was held in the spaces of the ex-Mattatoio in Rome.
Between 2006 and 2007 began the first experiments for the creation of a National MArteLive and in 2007 there was the first edition of MArteLive in Bologna and Avellino with a special project for schools.
In 2011 was tested a new version of MArteLive, the Beta edition, which involved 10 local throughout the capital for 4 days. Alpheus, Angelo mai, Animal Social Club, Brancaleone, Caffè letterario, Contestaccio, Init, Locanda Atlantide, Teatro Le Maschere and Via Asiago Live.
In 2014 the first edition of BiennaleMArteLive was realized, an unprecedented event for Rome, which from September 23 to 28 saw the involvement of 15 other organizations on Rome and Lazio, 40 locations on Rome and Lazio, 900 artists, 300 shows.
In 2017 the second edition of BiennaleMArteLive was realized from December 5 to 10, which saw the involvement of other 20 organizations on Rome and Lazio and 60 locations for over 75 events.
